Vintage at #Brimfield 2012

Sunshine or rain the loyal dealers setup camp and await the thousands of walkers looking for that special item at Brimfield. When you think Brimfield you think history & antiques...treasures with a past. Here are a few things I found on my morning walk.

This year I saw so many linens, old and new. These vintage pieces were gently used with hints of red in many different patterns. 

Toile, plaid and check patterns were plentiful and reminded me of country living.

Reproductions with a feeling of France seem to be everywhere.

I get the feeling that this cabinets prior home may have been a general store.

Vintage tableware fit for a rustic meal on the countryside perhaps.

Just in case you get lost there are many Brimfield signs to keep you moving. The direction is up to you.

Tired? I found this old camp equipped with all you need to recharge.

Time to go? Row, row, row your boat all the way home...

Hi I'm back from Brimfield 2012!

Hello everyone! I just came back from a fun time at the #Brimfield Tweetup in Brimfield Mass! It was hosted by Aubuchon Hardware, Benjamin Moore, Company C, The Daily Basics, Fashion+Decor, Kathryn Markel and Style at Home.This marked the 3rd tweet up event that brought bloggers and designers from all over the country to share their love of Brimfield and all things that inspire. Together Grethchen Aubuchon, Cynthia Bogart and Benjamin Moore hosted and event that fostered new relationships and brought insight to new trends and products all with a good dose of FUN!! Brimfield runs for 6 days total and will draw dealers and buyers from all over the globe that want to be apart of one of the biggest flea markets in the world. 


Even though I'm back from my trip I'm following many of the highlights via twitter! Robert Allen had introduced a new collection that I can't wait to see up close and personal. In fact I just used the "Sol" fabric you see above from a previous collection as a part of master bedroom installation! I can't wait to share it with you! In my upcoming post I will share a few finds and highlights  from vintage to modern day finds that I spotted along the way! Ciao!
